Political Science is all about cooking, says Bihar topper

Poor academic skills of Class 12 toppers from Bihar forces authorities to put their results on hold.

They have been asked to appear for an interview and written exam to prove their academic competence.

The Bihar School Examination Control Board (BSECB) chairman Lalkeshwar Prasad Singh said that the toppers were ordered to appear on June 3 for the interview and written test after reports of their poor basic knowledge emerged.

Singh assured that strict action would be taken against toppers if they fail in the interview and test. Their results would also be cancelled.

Rubi Kumari, Class 12 (intermediate) Arts stream topper didn’t even know about her own subjects. According to her, political science is a science of cooking. Jaws dropped when she called political science “Prodical Science” in front of a local news channel. Like everybody else, Ruby wants to become an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer.

A Probe is also ordered against examiners who checked these answer sheet.

Until last year, mass cheating in exams was reported every year in Bihar. Nothing of that sort appeared this time.
